Novak Djokovic wakes up in time against Sinner to record his seventh five-set comeback
Tennis. Rafa Nadal out of Wimbledon with injury
Novak Djokovic has always been known for his unorthodox methods, and one example is the diet he has, but now there was a very strange case when he inhaled air from a bottle in a change of court side at Wimbledon. Immediately speculation began about the contents inside the plastic bottle.

Instead of simply drinking from the bottle, as any tennis player does during breaks, Djokovic appears to breathe the contents of the bottle rather awkwardly during a break in the action of his quarterfinal battle with Jannik Sinner.

Djokovic asks for approval from his box at Wimbledon
Before doing so, Djokovic pantomimes on the way to his support team, repeatedly gesturing in the direction of the bottle, and appears to receive approval from his box.
While it is unclear what the bottle contains, it is common knowledge that Djokovic is one of several tennis players who take unmixed energy supplements and isotonic powders during his matches.
“You wouldn’t really get any benefit from doing it mid-match, but I’m sure this is isotonic,” a source told the Telegraph. “… It’s mainly pre-training stuff because it gives them a buzz. I imagine it’s nasty in the throat. It’s weird, but it’s what they’re doing.”
Djokovic can’t escape controversy
Perhaps encouraged by the undisclosed contents, Djokovic, 35, took on Sinner and won the last three sets after losing the first two to take the match, though that will always remain a mystery.
Djokovic faced similar scrutiny at the Australian Open two years ago, when he drank the contents of a water bottle in a similar manner; the last time, however, he used a straw, which made it look like water or another drink.
When asked about it at the time, Djokovic reflected, “The liquids were magic potions that my physio prepares in the lab. This is all I can say.”

Djokovic tells Kyrgios the loser will buy the drinks
Fan whom Kyrgios claimed had 700 drinks: I only had two
Before the Wimbledon final, Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios agreed that they bury a long standing feud once and for all by going out together.
After the Serb suggested the loser pays for dinner on Sunday, the Aussie had wilder plans.
“Let’s go to a club and go crazy,” Kyrgios wrote.
After the final which Djokovic would eventually win, the Serbian joked in his post-match interview that he purposely did not reply to that part as it was his wedding anniversary.
