KSI’s manager believes Floyd Mayweather should accept an exhibition fight due to the huge wealth it would generate.
YouTube star KSI – real name JJ Olatunji – will make his ring return for the first time in three years this weekend when he takes on two opponents Swarmz – real name Brendan Scott – and professional boxer Luis Alcaraz Pineda. His plan is to prove himself as the ‘GOAT’ of YouTube boxing by ending his bitter rivalry with YouTube star Jake Paul.
Meanwhile Mayweather has retired from boxing but has been fighting on the exhibition circuit and shared the ring with Olatunji’s former opponent Logan Paul last year. And KSI’s long-term manager Mams Taylor believes his client will be looking for the fights to boost his legacy.
Floyd Mayweather backed to accept “numbers” fight with…
“I think guys like Floyd and Conor McGregor are interested in big numbers,” Taylor told Mirror Fighting at yesterday’s open workout. “If the numbers are their then it makes sense. For us it’s a legacy thing whereas for them its a numbers thing. Floyd has the legacy he doesn’t need too but I think there is a big draw for either one of them guys or anyone else and let’s never say never.

“Let’s see what happens JJ likes to challenge himself he could even try influencer golf. Whenever he puts his mind to something he becomes passionate and a student of whatever he is working on, and the dedication and his heart is very hard to match.”
KSI has not fought since facing Mayweather’s former rival Paul in a rematch back in 2019, which is placed in the top five highest-selling combat sports events ever with two million units sold. This puts the event as the only fight in the five to have not involved Mayweather who took on McGregor, Manny Pacquiao, Oscar De La Hoya and Canelo Alvarez in the others.
