Ferrari Delivers a Blistering Response To CHARLES LECLERC
The last few races have not gone well for Ferrari and Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque has seen Max Verstappen take the lead in the F1 drivers’ standings after being forced to retire several times and having suffered from his team’s strategic errors. Charles Leclerc made a rather gloomy assessment a few days ago. But Mattia Binotto, the Ferrari boss, does not share the same opinion at all with a polar opposite opinion.
“We absolutely want to do everything to improve in every single thing we do, and obviously looking at the first part of this season, there have been some strategy issues, there have been some reliability issues and there have been some driving mistakes,” admits Leclerc,

“On reliability and strategy we are working extremely hard to improve. And after a mistake we always follow exactly the same process, which is to try to analyse where the mistakes came from, why we made the wrong decision at a certain point in the race, in order to move forward,
“As soon as we understand a mistake, then we can move on,” said Charles Leclerc in a statement.
But Mattia Binotto does not really share this opinion.
“First of all, I think there is always room for improvement, you can’t be perfect and you never will be,” concedes the team boss,

“I have no doubt that we need to improve, we need to improve on aerodynamics, chassis, powertrain, strategy and all the aspects that can be improved. Having said that, I think we have a very good team dealing with strategy and I don’t think that is one of our weak points,
