Who doesn’t know the bulky android assassin, the Terminator, sent from the future? The Terminator is one of the most famous sci-fi movies in history. Now those futuristic assassins found have their way into Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone.
Call of Duty announced that the game would feature two skins: T800 and T1000. The former is the original Terminator, from ‘The Terminator’ movie series, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. The other skin is of T1000, a shape-shifting android from the 1991 movie ‘The Terminator 2’. The skins would be available after a mid-season update on July 27.
Both skins would be available in two separate bundles. Further, the game would feature Titanium Trials, a mode designed to suit The Terminator skins. The base armor threshold would have an increased 300 hit points. Also, the core health regeneration will be slower compared to normal modes. And players will get a Self-Revive Kit at the start of a match.
Twitter reacts to The Terminator skins in the Call of Duty featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger character
As soon as Call of Duty revealed the Terminator skins in Warzone and Vanguard, the news spread like wildfire on the internet. Soon the fans showcased their reactions to the new cosmetic skins.
The Terminator skills didn’t excite the fans as Call of Duty expected. Most of them complained that introducing Terminators would ruin the game’s historical accuracy. Further, some fans complained that they don’t want these cool skins as they won’t be able to use them in Call of Duty: Warzone 2. Let’s take a look at those Tweets.
The mid-season Call of Duty upgrade wouldn’t only release two Terminator skins. But the update will have a lot more to offer to the fans. The players will have access to the Vargo-S Assault Rifle. It would have improved accuracy and fire rate, and this rifle will excel in medium and long-range combat.
Call of Duty: Vanguard will also get a new medium-sized multiplayer map in a village littered with destruction. Further, this new multiplayer map would be called Desolation. It seems Call of Duty has a lot to offer the fans, although they are waiting for Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.
