JUSTICE FOR A NEWBIE! Big TRADE on the horizon: Wimbledon RETURNS RUSSIA, Djokovic FIRST in the world again?
The decision of the ATP tennis association to cancel the points for Wimbledon due to the suspension of Russian and Belarusian tennis players raised a big storm.
ATP President Andrea Gaudenzi said that the organization would return the points to Wimbledon and lift the penalty if the Russians and Belarusians could play in that Grand Slam.
This would significantly affect Novak Djokovic as well, as he would be able to defend his 2,000 points he earned by winning the title last year.

“There is a known reason why we removed the points from Wimbledon. It is a matter of fair treatment and that there is no discrimination in response to the unilateral decision of Wimbledon, which we do not consider correct. Such a decision should have been made collectively, in consultation with all seven tennis players.” Gaudenci explained and added:
“We would be very happy to return the points to Wimbledon. Russian and Belarusian tennis players have said they are ready to sign statements that none of them are for war.

In that case, the knot would be untied in favor of Novak. The Russians and Belarusians would sign, Wimbledon would let them play, ATP would return the points to Wimbledon, Novak could defend them and not only be taken away from him as is the case now, and he could return to the first position if he defends the trophy .
