When they started their professional careers, Novak Djokovic and Ana Ivanovic were members of the Partizan tennis club. As they were considered the great hopes of world tennis at the time, and the age difference between them is only six months, it is natural that they spent a lot of time together and that they already developed a great friendship. These days, a photo from 17 years ago shows the two of them on social networks.

And maybe you remember the story about dyeing your hair? Here is what Djokovic looked like when he tried to impress the planet in his first Grand Slam match. It was in 2005 when he qualified for the Australian Open.
Before the match against Marat Safin, he was with a hairdresser who persuaded him to dye the front part of his hair. – I remember one of the most wonderful moments at the Australian Open when I qualified and played against Safin on the central court is that I got a haircut earlier that day.

Then a beautiful hairdresser asked me “Do you want to do something special for tonight?”. I asked her, “What do you suggest?” She told me, “Maybe we should paint the front of you.” I’ve never done that in my life and I said “Why not”.
I was 17.18 years old, so I said if I’m already going on the big stage, I’ll do it with style – Novak began and then added that Diana’s mother was not thrilled with how he looked: – She wasn’t very happy to see it, we didn’t have a great conversation about it later.
But we laughed after that, it seems like it’s years away. It has been 16 years since the first match on the central court, this was a great ride – said Djokovic.
