Novak Djokovic is starting to rebuild his heritage! The roots are not forgotten
NOVAK Đoković returned to his homeland, after visiting Montenegro, and his visit to the village of Jasenovo polje revealed a truly wonderful story, which testifies to how much our best tennis player is tied to his roots.
Namely, in the mentioned place where Nole lived until recently, Jasenovo polje, his great-grandfather Neđeljko was born, who moved to Kosovo and Metohija in 1928, only to return in 1941 fleeing the war.
Srdjan Djokovic’s father, Vladimir, was also born in the same place, and the tennis king now wants to symbolically build a new building right on the foundations of his house, and thus restore his heritage.
Novak, some day over the last days! 🥰🥰
A little bit of love to clear all of our timelines! #djokovic

Novak Djokovic is starting to rebuild his heritage! The roots are not forgotten
Milan Đoković, a relative of Novak, with whom the Serbian ace spent time in Montenegro until recently, revealed this in an interview with “Informer”. – The host of the meeting was Novak’s uncle Goran. Nole was also at our family estate, which is near the birthplace of Nole’s grandfather Vlad.
Only the walls remain of that house, it has collapsed from old age, it needs to be rebuilt, we’ll see when. The hamlet in Jasenovo polje, where ours and Nolet’s grandfather’s house used to be, is called Krstata dola. Novak’s family wanted to restore it back in 2012, but some relatives who in the meantime got it, and they are all over the world, cannot find an agreement to return/resell it to Novak’s family. It should be resolved.

We offered them part of the property to build a new one, but they want to build a building on the foundations of the old house. We hope that this will also happen – reveals Novak’s cousin from Nikšić. Let’s remind, during the visit to Jasenovo polje, the Serbian tennis player was playing with children in the meadow, and one situation made him laugh to tears. One boy accidentally hit another in the head with a ball, which Novak found infinitely cute.
